As of this season i am running an 809 rotax with close to 200 horse dyno'ed at 195 with old ignition not letting rpm reach over 9000 (peak power) and replaced it with a MSD haven't dyno'ed it since i through on the new ignition. It runs in the 9.80-90's usually with good traction and air it has done low 9.70's. we do not run around sea level at all (northern alberta). And I am looking at buying an 1117 stroked motor with approx 240 horse and i was wondering how much ET i would pick up with the extra 40 horse.

I sprayed about a 40hp shot of nitrous and picked up 20 mph in the 1/8th.

nos pro may be able to chime in. what kinds of increase to you see with a 40hp increase in motor hp?

Sledhead, i know your not spraying nitrous but its a ballpark hp increase

a true 40 horse should pick you up a 1/2 second at least. Should bring you down to 9.20's
