HOW TO PAGE

So you want to race your snowmobile on the asphalt. Its not as hard as one may think!

First you need a snowmobile, most people run between 500cc and 1000cc stock machines.A stock snowmobile is a great place for a beginer to start. All you need are a few parts and and about a weekend to make the switch.

There are 3 main parts that your gonna need.

1st  an asphalt track.

You're gonna have to buy a track but the rest of the stuff you can either make or purchase.I would not recomend buying a used track due to the fact that it will dry out and loose a lot of traction before it looks like its worn out, New tracks can run anywhere from $500 to $650.

Asphalt ski's can be found used from $150 and up, $400 or so new per pair or you can make your own.

A typical cool down system is usually made with a radiator, electric fan, bilge pump, hoses w/ quick connects and a battery. A lot of guy's will use a old cooler with ice water in it, plumb the lines in it so the coolant will pump into the cooler and pull cold water out the bottom and back into the sled.
