Product Description
PWM Fan Controller with AC Pressure Monitoring
Compatible with: 2018–2025 Jeep JL, JLU & JT (3.6L, 2.0L Turbo, 6.4L HEMI)
This standalone module provides intelligent control of your Jeep’s factory PWM fan by reading real-time engine coolant temperature and A/C pressure directly from the CAN bus. It replaces the factory fan control logic, which doesn’t ramp up until temps exceed 230°F—causing unnecessary heat buildup.
Our controller keeps your engine cooler: Most users see operating temps between 193–198°F, compared to the factory's 210–225°F range.
🔥 Fully Automatic Operation (No Switches Required)
-
Reads engine coolant temp and A/C pressure via CAN bus
-
Automatically adjusts fan speed from 15% to 100%
-
No user input required for standard operation
Example Fan Speeds by Temperature:
-
195°F / 90°C = 15%
-
199°F / 93°C = 30%
-
205°F / 96°C = 50%
-
212°F / 100°C = 75%
-
218°F / 103°C = 100%

⚙️ Optional Manual Override Inputs
If you want the ability to manually activate the fan with a seperate switch (e.g., for testing or post-run cooldown), you can choose an override input option at checkout. These inputs let you bypass automatic control and force the fan to run at full speed:
Chose a optional input type:
-
Positive Trigger: Fan runs at 100% when input receives 12V+
-
Negative Trigger: Fan runs at 100% when input is grounded
-
No Input: Select this if you don’t need a manual override (AUTO mode)
Override works with engine off, as long as the ignition is in the RUN position.
Let us know during checkout or by email if you need special configurations or multiple input styles.
✅ Supported Vehicles
-
2018–2025 Jeep JL / JLU – 3.6L, 2.0L Turbo, 3.6L eTorque
-
2021–2025 Jeep JLU 392 – 6.4L HEMI

🟢Compatible with both 650W and 850W factory PWM fans. Not yet tested on diesel models.
📝 ECU Types. GPEC2A VS GPEC5
Verify your ECU type. Pop the hood, locate your ECU and match the type to the picture:
-
GPEC2A: Used on most 2018-2023 3.6 and HEMI powertrains - Connectors on the face of the ECU

-
GPEC5: Used on most 2.0 and 2024 and later 3.6 powertrains - Connectors on the top edge of the ECU
